Chato Youth Movement For Democracy
[Important message]

We are a national movement, active at the local, regional and national level, dedicated to serving the Chato community especially the Youth. The movement is composed of Youth's and others, who share our views from the different diverse communities of Tanzania. We are all strongly united in our course, united by our common vision of purpose, bonded by the same problems we all encounter in our daily lives. We are defined as we persist, proud to operate by consensus and confident in the virtue of our goals.

Our movement is designed and devoted to increasing the awareness of and responsibility towards the political happenings in our communities, country and in the world in which we live. We call upon the youth across the country to make political engagement an important part of their lives. We urge a nation-wide focus on the current state of politics and government - and the differences each of us can make when involved in our political process.

Youth voter turnout was extremely strong in the 2010 elections. We as the Youth constitute 70% of the registered voters in our country. We must build on our momentum and strength and continue to sustain, agitate and demand Youth interests in politics and government. A lot of people are working very hard on this project. Involvement is key and crucial. Networking others is stressed, so that nobody especially the youth misses out on a movement that has the power to affect, determine and change the future of our beloved motherland. We must all harness our power and collectively bargain for our rightful shares in the leadership of this country. We must be heard!

As Youth's of this country, but particularly at CHATO we all have our diverse dreams. But all the same, dreams that are good for our country and the future generations and the entire mankind. Whether you are a primary, secondary, college, university or a non-schooling youth, we urge you to somehow be involved in public service the rest of your life. Let's join hands and make an "
Unbowed" team. The best way to accomplish something is to get involved.

Together We can Make A Difference. Pamoja Tutashinda.
